The Department of Economic Development conducts field visits to business owners within the Emirate

As part of its efforts to support the business environment within the Emirate, the Department of Economic Development (DED) represented by the Export and Investment Development Division of the Planning and Business Development Administration made several field visits to factories from various sectors in a series of continuing visits, in order to closely identify the needs of investors in the Emirate and address the challenges facing the business environment.

The DED has placed strengthening of the partnership between the public and private sectors at the top of its priorities. These visits are part of an annual plan drawn-up by the concerned department to find out the factors that enhance the investment and export environment in the Emirate and create an attractive environment for investment.

The visiting team was headed by Zahra Al-Bannai, Director of the Export and Investment Development Division, and the visit began with the steel industries sector, where the most important iron industries in which the Emirate of Ajman is distinguished and the available export opportunities are identified. This series of visits will continue to enhance the spirit of cooperation and solidarity between the strategic partners in the Emirate.
