Department of Economic Development – Ajman signs agreement with Ajman Tourism Development Department to enhance quality & efficiency of tourism services

The Department of Economic Development– Ajman (DED-Ajman) recently signed an agreement with Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) to improve the quality and efficiency of tourism services in the emirate according to the highest government standards as well as establish an effective and clear mechanism to guarantee continuity of service during unexpected events. The new partnership forms part of the DED-Ajman’s move to attract new investments and facilitate smooth business system for Ajman and the UAE’s enhanced global competitiveness.

H.E. Ali Essa Al Nuaimi, Director General DED, affirmed that the new agreement is a major step towards integrating government services to bring happiness to the people and promote community welfare. H.E. added that the partnership will lay the foundation for common potentials, whether it is human, technical, technological or practical, while ensuring continuity and uninterrupted services even during emergencies. Seamless and easy transactions complement the DED-Ajman’s efforts to enhance the emirate’s competitiveness, attract investments, and improve the local business sector to accelerate its economic growth.

Under the agreement, both sides are also going to engage in knowledge and experience sharing, promote electronic connectivity, and expand inspection and monitoring of real estate offices and consumer markets for consumer protection.
