    100% Trademarks’ Infringement Complains Resolved in Ajman 2020

    The U.S. Government’s Intellectual Property Attaché for the Middle East and North Africa and the American Chamber of Commerce and representatives of American brands including Nike, Apple, General Motors and Emerson visited the Department of Economic Development in Ajman, with the aim of enhancing future cooperation and partnerships in economic fields. Representatives from Ajman Executive Council and Ajman Chamber have attended the meeting. During the meeting, the most prominent achievements of the department in the field of protecting intellectual property rights, especially trademarks, during the years 2019 and 2020, and the delegation commended the role played by Ajman Economy in protecting intellectual property and stopping counterfeit products, and its outstanding efforts in creating an attractive business environment for foreign investment, and its contribution to establishing the UAE's position as a regional and global center for business.

    Ajman DED Celebrates “The UAE Innovation Week 2021”

    The Ajman Department of Economic Development (DED) celebrated the creativity and innovation during “The UAE Innovation Week 2021”, which started on Sunday and will end on 27 February. During this annual national event, the Department organized some events, initiatives, and activities, highlighted experiences and success stories of the UAE innovative entrepreneurs, honored the innovative employees and customers, and organized several workshops for investors in the area of innovation.

    A cooperation agreement between Ajman DED and "Aafaq" Islamic Finance

    The Ajman Department of Economic Development (DED) signed today a cooperation agreement with the "Aafaq" Islamic Finance (Aafaq) which comes within the framework of Ajman DED's keenness to realize its vision and mission that aims at achieving a sustainable competitive economy based on knowledge and innovation. The agreement also confirmed the two parties' desire to build and strengthen cooperation relations between them to effectively create a distinct partnership and create integration in common areas of work in a way that serves local and federal trends. This comes in line with Ajman DED's sought to achieve comprehensive and sustainable economic development in the Emirate, which is in harmony with the "Aafaq's" approach, which is concerned with providing financing and credit solutions and supporting various economic establishments.
