Today, the Department of Economic Development in Ajman (Ajman DED) organized an award ceremony for honoring the pioneering and distinguished projects in the Excellence Award for Economic Establishments in Ajman "The Best 2023". The results of the second evaluation session were announced, as 11 economic establishments wined within 4 categories of the Award, which are "Best Smart Industrial Establishment", "Best SME Establishment" (registered in Taziz Program), "Best SME Establishment" (registered in Reyada Program)", and "Best Consumer-Friendly Establishment". The winners in the first ranks were awarded prizes of non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
On this occasion, H.E. Abdullah Ahmed Al Hamrani, Director-General of the Ajman DED, said: “We congratulate the excellent economic establishments for this winning, and we look forward to working together to achieve sustainable economic development in Ajman, and to achieve the quality of life of society. In addition to highlighting the distinguished economic projects and establishments in the emirate of Ajman and honoring its owners, the award aims to motivate entrepreneurs to adopt the approach of excellence and leadership and upgrade their work system, educate business owners about laws, requirements, and work regulations, and encourage them to adhere to them. The winners were selected by an evaluation committee according to international standards in 4 different categories".
Faisal Buafra, CEO of Faisal Financial Technologies, the company that implements the prizes for the first-rank winners, stated that the use of non-fungible tokens (NFT) by Ajman DED is keeping pace with the digital government orientation, and a contribution to the application of innovative digital solutions, These NFTs are the first of its kind in the Ajman government to honor the winner in the categories of "The Best 2023" award.
The results of the second round of "The Best" award were as follows; Gulfa Water Factory won first place in the "Best Smart Industrial Establishment" category, followed by Al Ain Flour Mill in second place. For the category of "Best SME Establishment" (registered in Taziz Program), Happy Time Nursery won first place, followed by Techno Carpet Cleaning Services Company in second place, while the third place went to Makhaweer Salamah Fashion. For the category of "Best SME Establishment" (registered in Reyada Program), Al Shamsi Agricultural Projects Management Consulting won first place, followed by Hala Store for General Trading in second place, while Allair Candles Trading Est. came in third place. For the fourth and last category "Best Consumer-Friendly Establishment", Ajman Markets Cooperative Society won first place, followed by Safetex Group in second place, while Arab Suites came in third place.
