The Department of Economic Development in Ajman (Ajman DED) concluded its participation in the Innovation Platform organized by the Ajman Government in Al Safia Park, in cooperation with various government agencies, as part of the activities of the UAE Innovation Month by presenting two projects, the "360 Report Statement" and the "Directed Inspection System".
Our annual participation in the Innovation Month is to confirm our promotion of the concept of innovation and to develop our smart services that contribute to improving the environment and supporting investors.
The platform witnessed a visit by H.E. Saif Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Ajman DED, accompanied by a delegation of department directors, where they were briefed on a number of innovative projects launched by the Ajman DED and various government agencies, which aim to raise the efficiency of the services provided and enhance the experience of investors and the Ajman community.
The Ajman DED's platform reviewed the "360 Report Statement" project, which aims to enhance transparency and provide proactive reports to investors without the need to request them, as a free monthly report is sent to investors, the owner or partner in the license. Such report includes a list of all licenses owned or shared, licenses that expired more than two months ago, referring to their expiration date, licenses with violations that have not been paid, and permits that have been issued and their expiration date.
Ajman DED also reviewed the "Directed Inspection System" project, which is a smart system that relies on AI to improve inspection and control operations, as it is downloaded on inspectors' smartphones, which contributes to directing inspectors to conduct control operations based on advanced analyses. It also monitors the movement of inspectors in the field, analyzes their productivity, and measures their performance based on the number of field visits, violations, and warnings, which enhances competitiveness among inspectors.
In this regard, Al Suwaidi stressed that innovation is a fundamental pillar of the Ajman DED's strategy, saying: “Our participation in the Innovation Platform is a part of our commitment to developing our services and enhancing the investor experience through smart and advanced solutions. We are keen to benefit from modern technologies such as AI and advanced analytics to raise the efficiency of our operations and enhance the business environment in the emirate of Ajman. These projects reflect our vision towards digital transformation and proactive service provision, which achieves investor satisfaction and supports sustainable economic growth.”
