In confirmation of the march of excellence of the Department of Economic Development in Ajman (Ajman DED) and its pioneering role in spreading the culture of excellence and inspiring institutions to adopt best practices, the Ajman DED hosted a delegation from the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security (ICP) in Ajman to review the best practices in the field of innovation and future foresight and in the services sector.
Mr. Salem Hassan Al Ghafri, Head of the Innovation and Future Foresight Team, welcomed the visiting delegation, and stressed that these visits and meetings aim to learn about the best practices and benefit from the Department’s expertise in the field of innovation and future foresight, within the framework of joint cooperation between the Department and the ICP. He added that the Ajman DED provided a brief explanation of the development and pioneering initiatives and projects in accordance with the best practices applied in the field of services, which contribute to the happiness of customers and quality of life.
The delegation was also briefed on the work plans, curricula and policies in place, which contribute to achieving the government's orientation and the strategic direction of the Emirate. They also were briefed on the work mechanisms and procedures used to achieve and implement the desired benefits, which will be positively reflected on the strategic and operational indicators that will advance the economic development progress in the Emirate.
