The Department of Economic Development in Ajman (Ajman DED) won two awards during the closing ceremony of the 4th edition of the summer program for the Emirate of Ajman, "Our Happy Summer 2023". This summer program is graciously sponsored by H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, which seeks to enhance community cohesion, invest energies, develop skills, and discover talents.
During the ceremony attended by Sheikh Humaid bin Ammar Al Nuaimi, Ajman DED won first place for the "Future Foresight Diploma" program in the category of best development program for the second year in a row in this category. In addition, Abdul Rahman Ali bin Malik also won the best program coordinator award.
The diploma, from which 22 nationals graduated, contributed to enhancing their readiness for the future and its changes, developing their future thinking skills, and providing them with a comprehensive framework for building and preparing future scenarios. It included many activities such as workshops, panel discussions, and field visits.
H.E. Abdullah Ahmed Al Hamrani, Director General of the Ajman DED, praised the efforts made by the work team, which has the spirit of one team. He also praised the effectiveness of existing partnerships with the private sector establishments that participated in the diploma and contributed to achieving this victory by receiving the trainees at their workplaces, introducing them to the practical applications of future shaping initiatives on the ground, and emphasizing the continuation of implementing targeted programs and community.
