The Department of Economic Development in Ajman, (Ajman DED) represented by the Innovation and Future Foresight Team, has received the Innovation team of the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security in the Emirate of Ajman with the aim of reviewing the best practices in the field of innovation and future foresight. .

This visit comes within the framework of mutual collaboration and coordination to review the best practices and experiences in accordance with the best advanced international standards in many fields, such as future foresight, in addition to keenness to strengthen joint collaboration and develop partnerships in order to achieve the vision and aspirations of the government. During the meeting, the innovative services implemented by the two sides in serving the customer were reviewed and the best practices and the most important initiatives that serve the customer and the customer journey were reviewed.

In this regard, Mr. Salem Al Ghafri, Head of the Innovation and Future Foresight Team in Ajman DED, said: “The quality of life is one of the priorities of our rational government, in its belief in the right of the UAE community to meet their aspirations and needs in the present and the future for the next fifty years, to anticipate the future with strategies and initiatives aimed at the continuous development of the government work system to raise the quality of life in a sustainable environment, in addition to the development of government services to raise the level of happiness and welfare of the community and its members. Moreover, the Ajman DED aims to consolidate the innovation approach in its operating systems, and its staff, which is positively reflected in the level of services provided, with more facilities for the happiness of customers.”
