The Department of Economic Development in Ajman (Ajman DED) concluded the "Dukakeen Ajman" initiative in Al Jurf on Sunday, March 9, 2025, as part of Entrepreneurship Week, which witnessed a significant turnout from the public.
The exhibition, held in Al Jurf Park, featured the participation of 60 exhibitors from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Ajman and beyond. The event also included diverse participation from young traders, school students, and people of determination, all aimed at supporting the economic sector, developing their skills, and engaging them in the entrepreneurship sector.
The exhibition included a range of events and valuable prizes for the public, in addition to several workshops for children.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser Al Nuaimi, Director of the Business Development Administration, emphasized, "The exhibition, with its large attendance from the public and exhibitors, contributed to providing opportunities for SMEs to showcase their products and promising projects and promote them to advance the commercial level of their activities. This stems from our belief in empowering entrepreneurs to manage their projects by developing their entrepreneurial skills and participating in such events that contribute to the development of their businesses."
Aisha Kajoor Al Nuaimi, Director of Small and Medium Enterprises Development Department, added, "The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Department attaches great importance to supporting ambitious entrepreneurs by providing the appropriate environment and necessary resources to develop their ideas and turn them into successful projects. We continuously strive to provide all possible support through training programs and provide them with opportunities to participate in events and exhibitions that contribute to stimulating the national economy.
We witnessed remarkable interaction from the participants during this week, who excelled in presenting their ideas and projects to achieve success in the business world, and we look forward to continuing this momentum in the future."
Through Entrepreneurship Week, which is held annually, Ajman DED seeks to drive the economy in the emirate, stimulate commercial transactions, and encourage entrepreneurs to compete positively, both locally and internationally.
