The Department of Economic Development in Ajman (Ajman DED) announced the launch of the 3rd edition of the Economic Ramadan Majlis 2023, in cooperation with the Organizing Committee for the Ramadan Activities of the month of Ramadan Ajman "Taqwa and Iman" and the Citizens Affairs Office, which will be launched from March 30 to April 13, 2023. The Majlis sessions will include three main topics "the UAE Strategy of the Circular Economy, the Strategy of the Industrial Revolution, and the UAE Strategy of Green Development" with the participation of strategic partners, including the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, and the Ministry of Economy.
On this occasion, H.E. Abdulla Ahmed Al Hamrani, Director-General of the Ajman DED, confirmed that the Economic Ramadan Majlis annually seeks to host the most prominent speakers with experience and competence in the economic fields to discuss the most important economic issues in the country, with a view to enhancing economic awareness in the society. Al Hamrani added that the blessed month of Ramadan is an opportunity for discussion and meeting with the society in friendly sessions, in which we discuss the most important economic issues and listen to their opinions, suggestions, and inquiries for the development of our future strategies, initiatives, and projects.
In the first session held on 30/3/2023, Majlis will discuss the "UAE Strategy of Green Development" in cooperation with the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment.
In the second session held on 6/4/2023, Majlis will discuss the "Strategy of the Industrial Revolution" in cooperation with” in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology.
In the last session held on 13/4/2023, Majlis will discuss the "Strategy of Circular Economy " theme, in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy.
It is worth noting that the first edition of the Economic Ramadan Majlis, organized by the Ajman DED, was launched in 2021. It is held annually within the plan of various specialized and various discussion sessions organized by Ajman DED throughout the year.
