The Department of Economic Development in Ajman (Ajman DED) has launched the Ramadan Economic Majlis in its second edition, and it hosts a number of distinguished businessmen with experience and knowledge in this field, to transfer their knowledge to entrepreneurs, who wish to start their projects. The activities of the Ramadan Economic Majlis will be launched in the heritage district of the Ajman Museum, and under Al-Sedra, where the gathering is renewed with a group of entrepreneurs and merchants to benefit from their experiences in the business field.
The first session will be held on April 10, 2022, and hosts Mr. Fahim Al-Zubaidi, CEO of the electronic platform “Akshaak” to speak about the future of e-commerce, and discuss the efforts of the Akshaak platform, the platform's goal to provide support to productive families, and enhance electronic transformation.
The second session will be held on April 17, and hosts the businessman Mr. Yousef Sultan Al-Ajmani, where he will share with us his 37-year journey in the field of business, how he starts the business journey, and how entrepreneurs can continue their activities in the midst of the global pandemic. And, on April 24, the third session will be held and we will be waiting for you and hosts the businessman Mr. Mohammed Saeed Al Nuaimi to discuss with us the way towards commercial diversification.
HH Abdullah Ahmed Al-Hemrani, Director-General of Ajman DED said that the Ramadan Economic Majlis 2022 is one of the vital and inspiring meetings, to present the pioneering Emirati experiences in various fields, introduce the high-tech business environment that characterizes the country and the flexible legislation introduced by the UAE during the last period, in light of the objectives of the 50 and Centennial projects of the UAE 2071, in order to build a strong and sustainable economy based on knowledge and innovation, and under the leadership of national competencies, in addition its strategy to attract talent and competencies in vital sectors, and to consolidate the position of the UAE as an attractive and An economical destination, as well as a bridge to connect minds in order to create a more prosperous and sustainable future in order to achieve the welfare of people in the world. Al-Hemrani stressed that our activities during the holy month are not limited to the organization of the Ramadan Economic Majlis, but rather we are keen to present various and varied activities throughout the holy month, with various sites and ideas, and to live a distinctive Ramadan experience.
